Fawkes Thermal Manufacturing (Pty) LTD was established in 2020, after the founding team noticed that there was a large gap in the thermal insulation market. This market lacked a supplier with integrity to supply a product that is both quality thermal insulation and affordable. Our organisation was built on the vision that Fawkes Thermal Manufacturing (Pty) LTD would not only grow the Thermal Insulation Market, but also to ensure that our clients are offered the best product to suit their requirements and can source it from the fairest and most costeffective supplier without compromising quality and service.

Expansion Joints

Our Expansion Joints are manufactured by an exceptionally trained technical team. With over 23 years of technical experience, we are able to manufacture any Expansion Joint to suit practically any application. Our Expansion Joints are manufactured to suit each of our clients’ individual needs. From materials such as Glass and Ceramic Textiles and high temperature Silicones to EPDM, we use only the best quality materials to ensure the best quality products.

Our Expansion Joints are able to with stand temperatures from -60°C to 1200°C. We use only the highest quality materials from all over the world to ensure that our Expansion Joints are manufactured to the best quality products.

We manufacture 3 Types of Expansion Joints, namely:

Metal Bellows/Compensators

Our bellows have been used all over Southern Africa. From the Mining sector to refineries, we are able to supply any kind of metal bellow into almost any industry. We supply a wide range of metal bellows ranging from standard axial type bellows to custom made products.

Our Metal Bellows have a temperature range of 200°C to 800°C and have a pressure rating of up to 50 Bar.

Rubber Bellows/Compensators

Our Rubber Bellows are supplied from ND 1.1 4 ” (32mm) up to ND 80” (200mm), being recommended to operate up to 225 PSIG (16 Kgf/cm) and 250°F (120°C), according to the specific model.

Thermal Insulation Jackets

At Fawkes Thermal Manufacturing, we believe in supplying only the best quality Thermal Insulation and our Removable Thermal Insulation Covers are exactly that. Our Thermal Insulation jackets are designed to reduce heat loss from ductwork, valves, flanges, boilers heat, exchangers, pumps and other fittings.

Our Removable Thermal Insulation jackets are designed to individually suit each client’s specification. Manufactured with only the best quality materials, our Jackets are able to withstand temperatures of up to 550°C!

Fibre Textiles

CERAMIC FIBRE TEXTILES: Replacing Asbestos products, Ceramic Fibre Textiles are a high-quality insulation that have been used successfully for many years. Our Ceramic Products are designed with a glass reinforcement to withstand high temperatures of up to 650°C. For higher temperature applications we have wire-reinforced ceramic products to withstand temperatures of 1260°C. Our Ceramic Products have a low thermal conductivity and excellent chemical stability and compressive strength.

Our Ceramic Textile range consists of:

GLASS FIBRE TEXTILES: At Fawkes Thermal Manufacturing, we supply a wide range of Glass Textiles ranging from the cloth to webbing tapes. We supply our products in non-standard as well as standard sizing. Our Glass textiles are available in E-Glass and C-glass and are able to withstand temperatures of up to 550°C. Data sheets are available for each of our glass fibre products.
